RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Thank you for shopping with Mayyada Bazaar. We want you to love your purchase, and if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
1. Change of mind
We understand that sometimes an item may not be quite what you had in mind. For change of mind returns, we happily offer store credit (not refunds) if the following conditions are met:
- Your return is requested within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Items are unworn, unused, unwashed, and returned with all original tags, packaging and accessories intact.
- You can provide valid proof of purchase (receipt or bank statement – order confirmations alone are not accepted).
Exclusions for change of mind
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept change of mind returns on:
- Pierced jewellery.
- Cosmetics & beauty products.
- Oils, perfumes, or other liquid fragrances.
- Gift cards.
Store credit procedure for change of mind
- If purchased online, you are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Once we receive and inspect your item, we will email you with an outcome.
- Approved returns will receive a store credit voucher with a 12-month expiry date, redeemable online or in-store.
2. Refunds (Faulty or misdescribed items)
In line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if your item is:
- Faulty, unsafe, or significantly different from its description or sample, or
- Not functioning as it should, 'fit for purpose'.
Refund Procedure
- Please contact admin@mayyadabazaar.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order. Please provide any information that may assist us in assessing whether your purchase qualifies for a potential refund. This step is important to avoid items being unnecessarily returned.
- We may request photos or additional details to help us resolve the matter quickly.
- Once we receive and inspect your item, we will notify you of the outcome.
- Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 7 days of confirmation.
